Open Enrollment: 2023 Open Enrollment begins October 15, 2022–December 7, 2022

Medicare, Medicare Enrollment

t’s open enrollment time and just like when you were receiving insurance through an employer, now is the time to review your Medicare plan as well.

Just like health insurance offered through an employer, Medicare plans can change year to year. This is especially true for Medicare Advantage plans as new plans may become available that weren’t an option to you before. These plans may offer benefits like dental vision that aren’t covered by Original Medicare.

Change of Medicare plans

A lot can change in a year. Your plan may have been a great fit for you last year but if you’ve moved to a new state, need to change doctors or need a higher level of care now is the time to review those items in your Medicare plan. Open enrollment gives you a chance to plan out your year and your budget and decide what makes sense for you.

So many Medicare options

Finding a new plan that works for you can be tricky. You may hear of a plan from a friend but the benefit or budget works out differently for you. No Medicare plan is one size fits all. An experienced agent like Dee can help walk you through all the options out there, whether it’s a Medicare Advantage plan or a mix of Original Medicare and a supplemental plan. Now is the time to reach out for a consultation.

Open enrollment lasts until Dec. 7.
